Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. What's been your biggest surprise? My biggest surprise is all the great places I've lived and visited overseas! I never imagined leaving Florida or the US and now I've lived four times overseas, England 4 years, Norway 6 years, Scotland 4 years and now back in Scotland again. It's also been great for my children to be exposed to so many other cultures, climates and people. They know and view the world and not just their own city or country. Other surprises: Finding Mr. Right! And who would have guessed he lived a few houses away from me in Colorado, we met at church through our mothers! and a mutual friend. 1st date Dec 84, proposal Jan 85 , married August 85. . ;-) He's got to be a great man to put up with me. ;-) Lots of changes in those years, not always easy but we are always there for each other. Two kids, lucky me a girl and a boy. Both have graduated college, both working and are happy.! Next it will be grandbabies...I hope they wait a few years!
