Life
Retired in April 2005. Retirement at my age is a real bonus. I recommend it to all.
Major back surgery April 2007, to repair broken vertebrae. Not expected to walk, but doing fine in the fall. This is going to be a long recovery....
January 2008 - Recovery is progressing better than expected. Walking further each day. Pain issues are resolving quicker than expected.
August 2008 - Almost recovered and coming down off of the pain medications. (It's a drug addiction that follows this kind of surgery.) Doctors say I should be complete in October. Planning to get my FAA Medical renewed i...Expand for more

May 2009 - Complications slowed my recovery, but now fully recovered. Finally got my release from the docs the second week of May. Won't be doing any wild moves on the dance floor, but life is really good now.
August 2010 - Now! Now retirement is really good. No schedule, No demands for my time. Family and friends within walking distance. Four absolutely wonderful grand kids. We are all healthy. No regrets..Find me on FACEBOOK.
March 2013 - Healthy, happy, a brand new Son-In-Law and more grandkids on the way. How good can this get?
