For 36 years I worked for the American Postal Workers Union. For the last 16 years with the APWU I handled their Committee on Political Action and became an authority on the Federal Elections Commission and its rules and regulations. I have done it all. I was a voulunteer fireman in the late 60;s and early 70's. I was very active as a boy scout leader. I was divorced from my first wife in 1975. I then got involved with Parents without Partners as an Area Director for the DC Area and continued with that until I met my second wife, Marie, in Dallas in June of 80. We were married in December 1980. I was involved in all aspects of the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce....as a chapter president, as a local and national program manager and as a district and regional director. I ran the speakers bureau for the Hospital for Sick Children in NE DC, when Mrs. Barbara Bush was first lady. In the spring of 2006, my wife Marie and purchased a home in Dade City, Florida and in October 2006 we sold our home in Clinton MD and headed south to thw West Coast of Florida . Dade City is about 25 miles northeast of Tampa Fl and 60 miles Northeast of Orlando. We live in an area that would remind you of the WHAT IT WAS around Springbrook when we were in school. 'We still have cows and horses and thousands of citrus trees. As my son, Brad says, he wishes he could bottle the citrus aroma and take it back to Harrisburg, PA. Our area has alot to offer. We can go to St. Pete to see the Tampa Rays play baseball, or to Tampa to see the Lightning Hockey team and of course we have the Tampa Bay Buchaneers and also were are hosting the Super Bowl in February 2009.
