Jerry's Story
Life
After Moon Valley, I went to U of A and earned a degree in Chemical Engineering. I spent my last semester of school at the University of London studying art, music, literature, and philosophy. I took time to travel throughout Europe and the Middle East.
After school I started work with an oil company in Salt Lake City. After a year, the office moved to Evanston, Wyoming. I stayed there for 5 years, met and married my wife, Tammy, and then was transferred to Houston, TX.
In Houston I worked with the International Construction Group as a process engineer. Assignments included Trinidad & Tobago, Netherlands, North Sea, and Egypt. While working I went to night school at the University of Houston and earned an MBA.

er trade back. I worked in the operations group and was resonsible for the facilities engineering group that covered over 200 platforms in the Gulf of Suez and process facilities that produced over 400,000 bbls of oil per day.
The people were very friendly and courteous. They're always telling jokes, laughing, and drinking tea. Life is very, very tough for them and yet they work hard and laugh.
In 1994, we moved to Phoenix. I took over my father's small training company and quadrupled it and started a television network in 2 years. We sold 80% of it in 1996 to TCI the cable company. But in 1998, TCI was bought out by AT&T. AT&T didn't want it so we bought it back and sold it again in 2000.
I was pretty burnt out after that and decided to retire and raise my kids. I was missing out on their lives due to all of the hours at work. So that is what I have been doing since then.
