Jerry's Story
hello out there,
I'm new to this so bear with me. wow, where did the years go, I've worked in the electrical field over 30 yrs, I have worked in detroit, new york city, jersey city,n.j., on some really big projects. I worked at the south texas nuclear plant a a few high rises that went up in downtown houston. I have had the honor and privilege to work around the best electricians in the world. I owe all this to my father and brothers and of course my local union where I got my training. I was fortunate enough to get elected to my union's executive board and proudly served 6 yrs, I have been active politically and worked in some local campaigns. nd reflect back I wonder how the hell [pardon my french] did my dad do it.My parents raised 6 kids and my father was the sole bread winner and worked many hrs. to provide for us. He grew up during the depression and was a world war 2 veteran. Now that I have my own kids I wish my parents were still around so I could once again say thanks and praise them for all the sacrifices they made for us. Being in a relationship is very tough now days, having kids even harder with all the new technology and peer pressure to fit in. And I being a late bloomer having kids late in life, am still trying to fit in. Being a construction hand all my life I am new to cyber space. Here's to you my classmates that have lived full lives and raised children and now have grandchildren to carry on. May god bless you
and look forward to hearing from you.
