Jerry's Story
Well, let's see. Six months after graduation I enlisted in the Marine Corps and did a two year stint. I finally regained my sanity after two years. Not that bad really. After that I worked in construction for a while and was working toward my apprenticeship in carpentry when the housing market crashed in the mid to upper 70's. On December 23, 1978, I made the best decision of my life to date, and married Rosalind Hedrick. And 30+ years later we are still happily married. God has blessed us with two wonderful children, Melissa 28, and Jeremy 22. Both still single so no grandkids yet, but we are getting anxious.

I have been working in manufacturing since 1979 and am currently working for 3M in Greenville, SC. We moved here in 1993 looking for a better life and we love it. Greenville has big city amenities with small town charm.
I am hoping we can make the 40th reunion. Holy cow it hurts to say that. Forty!! Can ya believe it. It seems every time something pops up to keep us away. I hope to hear from more of you. There's hardly any time at all that goes by that something from our school days doesn't pop into my head.
