Jerry's Story
May of 1973, entered into the United States Marine Corps. After Boot Camp, went to Military Police School at Ft. Gordon GA. After graduation from MP School, was stationed in Barstow, CA...Then went over seas to Guam for 25 months...Re-enlisted for additional 2yrs...transferred back to Barstow and changed careers to heavy equipment operator...remained there for one year, then transferred again to Okinawa Japan, and was stationed at Camp Swab for 18months, went on several floats and did a lot of traveling. une NC for discharge. Returned to Omaha, NE in May of 1980. I have worked as handy man, Postal Carrier, Semi-Driver, and have become an Jack of All trades as far as work. experience is concerned. 1985 met the Love of my Life, Marie and in 1988 I finally married that patient woman and immediately became a father of three... we have been together ever since. We now have 15 grand children (5 girls and 10 Boys) and our eldest grandchild just graduated from Millard South this year. We are currently residing in Bellevue, NE.
