Jerry's Story
Life
Eight years in Air Force after high school. Attended school at Texas Tech, Univ of Maryland, La Salle, Richland College, Oxford Univ and Leicester Univ in England. 10 years as a statistical analyst in aerospace industry, 10 years as a stock broker, 12 years as a writer and 5 years as a consultant for new busines ventures. 12 years as a real estate agent in North Dallas. Married 3 times. 3rd is a charm. I have one daughter and 2 grand daughters and a great granddad in June 2008. Joan has 2 sons and a daughter. My oldest grand daughter is a nurse in the Army and the youngest is a cheerleader in high school. You may remember my 2 sisters Donna and Linda. Donna is married to the Executive Editor of a major newspaper in Texas and Linda is House Mother at a sorority at Univ. of Missouri. I retired at age 66. Wife retires in 3 years as area sales manager for Embassy Suites Hotels and travels throughout the country. r is in last semester in law school at SMU and takes BAR in February 2009. Joan's youngest son is Captain at Morton's of Chicago and her oldest son teaches I.T. at Siemans Corp with a Masters in Math and IT. We love to travel the world. Hawaii is our favorite and make ocassional trips to Europe. Prefer the U.S. to anywhere else. Frequent trips to California - La Jolle, San Francisco and Sonoma/Napa Valley. Most recent to Palm Springs for R&R. Closest high school friend I'm still in touch with is Charles Ratliff and would love to meet with my great childhood friend, Nancy McCall. Former Chairman of Disaster Response Program for 300+ United Methodist Churches in North Texas Conference. Spent years as caretaker for mother in law who passed away in Dec 2008 at age 94. We have a nice home in North Dallas with separate quarters. Just installed a new 2 room outdoor Gazebo and Hot Tub. Hobby is primarily woodworking, the stock market and upgrading investment real estate. Still remember a lot of my classmates at MHS and wish all well.
