Jerry's Story
Hi There,
I graduated from Holland Christian, BS from Grand Valley State University and MA from Michigan State.
I taught 6th grade in Allegan for one year (1972) and then moved to to Caledonia to teach 6th grade at Dutton Elementary in 1973. In 1986, I was appointed Principal of Dutton Elementary in Caledonia (13 years) and then in 2005 appointed Superintendent of Caledonia Community Schools. I have a wonderful family. My wife Peggy ( Breuker) has worked for Steelcase for 25 years. We have been blessed with two children. Craig is an attorney in Grand Rapids, Mi and has 4 children. He resides in Walker mi with his wife Kristin. Wendy is a teacher and taught 7 years. She is now a stay at home mother taking care of her 5 children. She resides in Kalamazoo, Mi with her husband Matt.
