Jerry's Story
Life:
Well, here we are getting through a Pandemic. Who would have thought? Back in '74, life seemed so simple and I thought summers would last forever and that the world wasn't ready for me yet. I've changed my mind about that now. The Byrds sang; "I was so much older then, I'm younger then that now." Sums it up quite well for me. I have two daughters and one very special granddaughter with severe neurological and physical impairments. Her name is Faith. She is God's gift to us and we love her so much. We have two grandsons: Liam and Jacob. Jacob spent the first 9 weeks of his life at Sick KId's with a rare heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot. He is doing well and turned five past November. They are both very active kids to help balance things out. My wife is from Cape Breton N.S. We've been married 44 amazing years. She really is my best friend. Worke...Expand for more
d at GM for 21 yrs but was let go Sept. ('05). I miss the early seventies ('70-'74) and my hair, Hahaha. Used to be able to part it several ways but since then my hair and I have parted our ways :) I believe Jesus is God's Son and our only Savior. Finally admitted that in 1990 when I opened the bible for the very first time. It changed my life. Grateful the Lord never gave up on me, even when a lot of others had.
The world is really getting darker (spiritually speaking) Monday April 8th it will get pretty dark here in Niagara. There will be a total eclipse of the sun. First one for me. I've seen partial eclipses but not a total one.
Jesus is still in control and God is not dead. Keep looking up its where our help comes from.
No calling plan needed. Just faith required to get in touch with Him.
