Jerry's Story
After High School, went to Valley JC until I got drafted. While trying to avoid Vietnam, I went to Officers Canidate School. Was sent to Germany for 3 years. While trying to get into flight school, got sent to to Vietnam as an Advisor to an ARVN Battallion. After 5 years, I got out as a Captain. Spent the next 29 years in the Banking industry as a Regional Vice President in charge of Lending at a major Savings and Loan. Retired, or so I thoug...Expand for more
ht I would. Went back to work, in the Information Technology field. Now Almost 12 later I am a Sr. Network Administrator.
During my military, I got married in 1969. After almost 51 years I have 2 daughters, and 3 Grandchildren. Would love to retire again soon, but so far, "no rest for the weary".!!
Well, finally I retired! Moved to Menifee to be close to our kids and grandkids. Haven't decided if that is good or bad. Being retired is GREAT!
