I was choir master at FUMC Canton (1965-1966 and 1971-1978), Poplar Spring UMC in Meridian (1980-1981), Trinity Baptist in Fulton (1981-1983), and Fulton UMC (1988-1995). I played horn in the Jackson (now Mississippi) Symphony Orchestra (17 years), University Orchestra (2 years), Tupelo Symphony (10+ years), 41st Army Band, Aeolian Woodwind Quintet, Mississippi Opera, Opera South, various other freelance events, and the Oberlin Conservatory's Teacher Performance Institute in 1969.".
