Life.. After leaving Wilcox (barely graduating) I got drafted into the Army (that sucked!). I got stationed at Fort Lewis (I lucked out not going to Vietnam, others weren't so lucky) and when I completed my two year obligation I stayed on in the Seattle area. I got out of the Army one day, started a new job with the Federal Government the next day and the following weekend I got married (don't like to waste time!). I quickly realized government work in the US wasn't the most exciting so I volunteered to go work overseas. Best decision I ever made other than marrying Rhonda (had to get that in!). We lived in Korea - Hawaii - Japan - Germany - Italy (I could have died in Italy but the allure of being closer to the grandkids was too strong a pull). Living overseas was awesome! I thought I knew about other countries and cultures from watching educational TV (yeah right!) but quickly found to truly understand a culture you must live it. I LOVED IT ALL!
