Jesse's Story
Life
I live in Tuscaloosa, Al, 5 miles from the University of Alabama. Co-opped in Chemical research while an engineering student at UA. I married a part-Hawaaian girl. We have 3 sweet & pretty dark-haired daughters, 20 - 24. Divorced 1998. Kept my inlaws. Have worked 29 yrs+ at Tuscalosa Fire Dept. Speak Thai well enough to get into trouble. Married and divorced a Thai PhD student. Have a son, Charles Oscar Malone, 5 years of age. He is named after my father, Charlie, and Dr. William Oscar Sessions, the retired Tillman's Corner dentist and old WWII Navy Diver.
I enjoyed my younger days. Like to work. Owned a couple of businesses. Banjo picker. Play music everywhere. Like to hike on the Appalachian Trail every ...Expand for more
winter. I sneak off to Mobile to spear-fish. Have traveled some. Climbed Mt. Fuji in Japan. My 5 y.o. son and I climbed Pico de Orizaba, a volcano in Mexico, 18,500 ft elevation. Camped at 16,000 ft.
My family is originally from Tuscaloosa. I have lots of kinfolks here. My dad, Mr. Malone, a.k.a. "Monkey Malone," for those who knew him at St. Elmo Middle School, is in good health. He is 73 y.o. and can still run and do whatever he likes to do.
I would enjoy hearing from some old classmates. I understand that life has some strange twists for us. Hopefully, we can laugh at some of our misfortunes and appreciate just having lived this long.
