Jessica's Story
Life
I moved to Plymouth from the Valporaiso area in 1992 and have lived here since. I attended Plymouth High School from which I graduated in 1996. After graduation I mostly worked and kept busy on my days off with friends. In September of 1997 my life changed when my son was born. It was one of the best days of my life. For a while I was a single parent. I worked to support my son and tried to be the best mother and father to him that I could. In 1998 while working as a Dept. Manager/Head Cashier at Kabelin True Value, I met a
wonderful man. He changed mine and my son's lives forever. He accepted my son as his own and on June 19,1999 we were married. We now have two children of our own. A son born in April 2000 and a daughter born in April 2003. I have mostly been a homemaker so that I could be home with my children. That was the career I chose for myself for quite a while. I now plan to attend school in the fall for Business Management and see where life takes me from there. I am also proud to say that my husband and I just bought our own home on 2 1/...Expand for more
2 acres of land. We have had our home for a year now and absolutely love it.
Over all, I can't imagine my life any different. I guess you could say that I am truly blessed!! It has been two years since I wrote this bio. I have been working at Fifth Third Bank since May of 2005. I absolutely love it. Basically been enjoying life with my husband and children. Hit a little speedbump in August of 2005 when my two boys were in a school bus accident. The gentleman whom the school bus hit was killed on scene. It was found this man's fault because he ran a stop sign. My oldest son hit his ribs and ended up with pnuemonia. He, however, is fine. My youngest hit his head and was knocked unconscience. We have been through so many tests because he has severe headaches and his behavior is different. We just found out that he has little cysts on his brain that splintered off in different areas as a result of the accident along with one of his vertebrae was knocked off its axis. We are getting him the attention he needs, but please pray for a full recovery for him.
