an MIT/Harvard collaborative project to develop a posthesis for the visually impaired. In 2006, I moved to Ohio State University in 2006, where I am an assistant professor in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering. At OSU (Go bucks!), my research is focused on developing nanomaterials for cancer treatment and detection and on improving neural prosthetic devices for Parkinson's disease and blindness. You can read more at my research website accessed through the OSU webpage. I also have two children, Ali Joan born Dec 6, 2001 and Max Xerces born July 31, 2004.
