Jessica's Story
Quick catcher-upper: I did two years at BMCC before going to Newberg,OR to attend George Fox University. Finished my bachelor's in Organizational Communication Summa Cum Laude. Married Sam Bates on June 19, 2004. This year will mark our 5 year anniversary, which we're celebrating with a trip to Washington DC to visit my sister, Pittsburgh to visit my best friend and a weekend excursion to NYC in March. Can't wait!

My husband is a 5th generation dry-land wheat farmer, and a reserve police office for the City of Condon. A year ago I took a job as Economic Development Officer for Gilliam County and love it. It's like marketing and project management rolled into one. Challenging, but worthwhile.
Beyond work, Sam and I stay involved in the community and church. Sam and I are on the Worship team at church, where I sing and/or accompany on piano every Sunday, and Sam plays bass guitar. Jonathan shows all the marks of a musician - loves the guitar and trying out drums. I can't wait to see that talent mature.
