Jessica's Story
Life
For those who knew me in high school, you might remember I went into the Marine Corps. right after graduation. I was stationed at NAS Memphis, in Millington, TN until I was discharged. Came back to Van for a very short time, went up to Portland, OR, for a few months, lived in Tyler for a while, where I worked at Trane, making air conditioners on an assembly line. Eventually moved to Houston, TX where I've been ever since.
I've been engaged, but we didn't actually make it to the altar, so I'm still single. No children. Currently invovled with someone, but it's extremely complicated. We both have issues and he's half my age. Literally. Currently, I live alone with my one cat. May get another one, but not right now.
Most of the last 14 years I've worked for Continental Airlines. Lost my job with them about a year ago and now I'm working for an alarm company...Expand for more
. I've been a dispatcher for most of the year, and still work backup for the alarms, but my main job now is to take incoming calls. I've been to a vocational school, Bradford School of Business, here in Houston, and I'm currently attending college. Should get my associates next year. I'm studying the Japanese language and culture and would like to become fluent enough to work as a translator. Either that or cultural anthropology, which is fascinating to me.
Oh, and, thank's to a phone call I made, my mother's murder case has been reopened. I've been watching enough Cold Case Files that I got inspired to take action myself, and so her murder might be solved, now.
