Jesus's Story

Military Rod joined the US Navy Nuclear Power Program in 1975 as a Seaman Recruit and retired in 1999 as a Lieutenant Commander. Rod served in both SSBN and SSN type submarines, as well as in Submarine Tenders and shore repair facilities in the Atlantic and the Pacific. ement Medal (2 Awards), Humanitarian Service Medal (4 awards), Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy Unit Commendation as well as six Flag Officer Letters of Commendation. He is also entitled to wearing the Surface Warfare Officer and Enlisted Submarine warfare pins. His civilian recognitions include CACI Program Management awards in 2002 and 2004 as well as Business Support awards in 2003 and 2005.
