Jill's Story

After FLHS I went to Cornell University, where I got a BA in Theatre Arts & English. Worked briefly for Newsweek, then moved to LA, where I've pursued a career in TV and the movies. Started out writing game show questions, then landed a staff job on "The Love Boat," which lasted seven years. Co-created an ABC dramatic series and wrote for many episodic TV shows, as well as producing spots for TV with Major League Baseball....Expand for more
Writing is a great career for the curious, because every adventure you want to explore is "research"... whether it's traveling to the Mediterranean, singing in a girl band, joining the Dodgers in spring training, or witnessing an awe-inspiring open heart surgery. Currently penning movies, both solo and with my talented hubby, Ken Blackwell. Our best story is our life, filled with family, friends, laughter and love.
