Jill's Story
Brief History:
Lived in Upper Peninsula in Marquette County with husband and two children from '72-'78. Moved back to the lower, Shelby Township and New Baltimore area, raised children and attended MCCC and Oakland University. Graduated with BA in 1989. Moved to Big Bay, Mi 1990. Taught Elementary school (5/6 grade, Resource Room, Music, and Technology.) Graduated with MA from NMU in 1996 and EDs in 2006 in administration. Continued tea...Expand for more
ching, also filled in as Superintendent/Principal one year. Retired from Teaching in 2016. Husband diagnosed with Cancer in 2017, Passed away after 48 years of marriage in 2018. Went back as Superintendent/Principal for a year and a half during COVID. Retired again in 2021. Currently grandmother to 8 and serving as Pastoral Coordinator, Cantor and Lector at our mission church of St. Mary. (My life in a nutshell to anyone interested...)
