Life Hi friends, I live on Mercer Island, 5-minutes from downtown Seattle, Washington. I'm a finance analyst with King County Department of Natural Resources. I love my job, but will be retiring to Peoria, Arizona in the next few months. My husband is an attorney and we are really excited about moving to the sunshine. It's beautiful here, but the rain, moss and green concrete get old after awhile. I've raised two boys and am active in church and volunteer activities. I was never very active at school because I always had to go to work around noon, or in early afternoon. Seems I've worked since I was about 11 years old. Also, I was really shy and didn't feel like I fit in with those who were in school a full day and pursuing college right out of high school. I followed a Business Course. My memories of Pacoima Junior High are great, but less so of San Fernando High. s My sister, Judy Taylor, was 5 years ahead of me. She is retired and living in Buckley, Washington.
