Jill Underhill:  

Life After college (Chatham) and grad school (University of Arizona) I married a guy named Bill Underhill (because of the obvious benefits of rhyming with your spouse) and moved to Texas in 1990. I did some singing and theater in Houston before Schlumberger transferred Bill to Germany, where we enjoyed nearly five years of gallivanting around Europe.(We visited England, Norway, Greece, Italy,The Czech Republic, the Canary Islands, skied in France, Austria, and Switzerland, and took a cruise to St Petersburg, Russia, during the White Nights.) I sang light opera with a touring company in Germany, too. After our return to Texas in 1996, I taught voice lessons in the public schools and started another graduate degree, in counseling, which I did not complete because I kept getting pregnant! Will was born in 1998, Charlie in 2000. We bought some land and built our dream home in Richmond, Texas, where we lived happily until Schlumberger sent us to Japan in 2002, which was a real trip!
