Jill's Story
Life
I have had a crazy and varied time since I graduated - and given the choice I'd do it all over again. I joined the army learned Russian, was stationed Germany, did arms control treaty verification, traveled the world. I got married, had a son, got out of the army, finished my BA. Moved back to the states, worked. Got divorced and went to law school. I graduated in May 2001 and I feel the adventure is just beginning. I still love to travel and have managed to instill that love in my son, Connor - now 11.
Now my life has settled a bit. We've lived in the same house for three years (a personal record), I've had essentially the same job since...Expand for more
2001 (another personal record), and I spend my time working, hanging out with friends and playing in an Ultimate Frisbee league with my son.
The last few years have given me a chance to be more introspective and realize the importance of family, friends and one's past. I regret I have so little of my past to share with my son. I haven't even been to Auburn since I graduated. I hope to change that soon, visit my old home town, go to the next reunion (does anybody know what's up with that?) and show my son what it was like for me growing up.
