For many years I refereed and coached soccer. Became a National Referee Instructor and National Referee Assessor, as well as director of officials for the American Soccer League, the American Professional Soccer, and Major League Soccer. Am now retired from all soccer activities, but was awarded the U.S. Soccer Federation's highest honor for referees, the Eddie Pearson Award, in 2004.
Was thrilled to attend the 60th class reunion in October 2015, as I had not seen anyone in our class since graduation. Last contact with a classmate was by phone and electronic means with Jules Routbort, who unfortunately left us several years ago. Now in contact with several classmates on a weekly (or so) basis.
