After Harding, I attended U of M. Worked as a fund-raiser for both United Hospital/Allina Health Systems & Indianhead Council Boy Scouts of America. Also spent 1979-2000 in the Army Reserves retiring as a Major - many tours of duty - both short & long (I have been notified 4 times now since September 2001 that I may be called back if they need Engineers most recently in January 2006).

sing more than $3 million a year in donations. It was a fun position which allowed me to use my 2 engineering degrees. On August 1, 2001, my wife and I bought a coffee house called "Mocha Bay Company" which specialized in gourmet coffees, ice cream, sandwiches & live music a couple of nights a week. We opened a second location in 2004. We expanded Mocha Bay's scope to include consulting & grant-writing for small businesses & non-profit organizations. Sold both coffee shops in January 2005 and am now focusing on the consulting with non-profits & churches.
