Jim's Story
Life
After graduating, I spent one semester at UofH then went into the Army in Jan 66. I attended OCS at Fort Sill, went to flight school and eventually flew helicopters in Viet Nam in 69-70. I spent 21 years on active duty and retired from the Army in 1987. I've been in the DC area since 1982 when I came to Washington to do one tour of duty in the Pentagon. I finished active duty managing laser programs in the Star Wars program and kept doing that same techical stuff for the last dozen years. I have one son who lives in VA, a daughter who lives in Georgia and a stepson in Phoenix. I have 3 grandkids in Georgia. I've been an avid photographer since 1966 and haven't made it to a single reunion yet.
The years have added several pounds since high school, but I still have all my hair. I had two heart attacks in the early 90s, but am doing fine now.
My partner and I have been together for 9 years and have a big house in Fairfax, VA (a suburb of Washington). We have a boat on the Potomac River and love to have guests come aboard and enjoy the water. If you're ever in the area call and stop by.
