Jim's Story
Hi everyone,
This is kind of strange to tell my story to my friends that I grew up with. I have been living in Bend,Or. for the last 27 years and feel very blessed to have been able to raise my family in such an awesome environment. I am married to my best friend and she is a wonderful wife and mother. We have 5 kids between us, ages 20-32 Wow, that makes me feel-wise:) My son Cody is 21 & has been at Boise State the last 2 years running on their track team, this year he decided to transfer to OSU :) but got pretty sick & moved him back to Bend. He just left yesterday back to Boise State to finish his college career. My other son Jake played football at OSU in his freshman year so I was able to make most of the home games (that was fun) Our 20 year old daughter is going to a college to learn how to do hair & is very interested in missions work to help young kids without parents as her father passed away when she was just 3 yrs old. e things that go with it. My wife(Shoshana) and I are know learning life with just the 2 of us. It really isn't that hard as we are having a lot of fun traveling around with our new business.I have been building houses for the last 30 years and with a company called Sun Forest Const. for the last 16 years. I have enjoyed it but ready for a change.We have vacation rentals in Bend, so if anyone is looking for a place to stay let me know.I still love hunting & fishing & most sports although with so much going on my priority list has been on the bottom for awhile. We have a ranch just west of Bend with horses,outdoor weddings and just a lot of fun. I have always Loved my memories of growing up in Corvallis and all of my friends that were part of my family. I enjoyed showing my kids the houses & neighborhoods that uncle Don grew up in, yes I thought of all the good times & the bad times. You know who you are that shared those times with me, hopefully there were many more good times then bad ones. Talk to you soon
