Life
Hello everyone.
It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do after graduating from high school. I finally decided to go back to school to become an aircraft mechanic. So I packed up and moved to Arlington,TX. Once I finished training I took a job working for Business Express up in New Hampshire and lived in Old Orchard Beach,ME. After about a year they closed down my base and I was forced to move again. This time back down to Abilene,TX. Where I had to stay for a year(a very long year) before I could transfer. . I was there for about six months when I found out that Delta Air Lines was hiring mechanics, so I applied with them and got the job in 1998. So I packed up and moved again. This time to GA. I finally bought my first house in 2000 just north of Atlanta. I think my moving days are finally over. I can actually say that for the first time "I love my job". That and you can't beat the flight benefits.
So much for Delta, after 8 years I just got laidoff. Time to move on I guess. Never mind the moving on part. After a four month vacation I'm back to work at Delta.
