Jim's Story
Life in general has been good to me.
I left Clovis in my senior year to move to the Oxnard Ca area of southern California. I really didn't like it much at all. Left many good memories behind in Clovis and certainly left really good friends. I finally did finish school there and started Ventura College.
I met my now wife while attending college there in 80. We have been together since and she gave me a tryout and finally married her in '87. We have two great kids, Justine my angel girl at 20 and TJ my son at 15. Both are in school and trying the best they can.
I began to work for a living started with GTE of California in oct of 81. GTE is now Verizon and will be my 27t...Expand for more
h year this year. I have had many jobs within VZ. Though, have been doin IT work for 20 years. Currently I have an IT Manager position and have more work than I can do. Basically infrastrucutre type work. Really tough and I really dig-it.
We moved from Ventura CA in 1994 to live in Tampa Florida. Been in Tampa ever since and we like the weather, yet can live without the hurricanes. Love the BUCS, RAYS, Lightening, USF BUlls and not to mention Baseball's Spring Training.
The beaches in the Gulf Coast are to die for.
Recently, I have met up with some special folks from years ago and having a super great time with that, catching up, exchaning info and gettin re-aquainted.
