Jim's Story
Life
Now retired after 45 years in the fire service. The last 10 in a non-profit devoted to improving prevention efforts in the U.S. I'm married and living in Vancouver area where I work out of my home. My children are grown and graduated from college - I'm very proud of both of them. My oldest is married, and living now in Spokane. She is a psychologist. My counseling visits are free of charge. Emily and Rajiv have a daughter (Elishuba) born on my birthday - pretty special.
My Son is living in Seattle pretty well settled into life there. He likes the cosmopolitan feel of Seattle - and visits regularly.
I sold my mid-life crisis motorcyle - actually those who know me understand I've been having a mid-life ...Expand for more
crisis since high school. I finally had to admit my balance and reflexes were slowing down - and the heart kind of went out of me when one of my best friends and riding buddy passed away. But I love to snow ski when I can, and golf though I'm really no good at it.
For those that cruise these sites on an occasional drift into memory lane - I'll share that I have a very full life and reminiscing about the old high school days is an occasional fun thing. Lots to do and life is good, but I sometimes wonder where old friends are and enjoy bumping into people as time and fate allow.
And perhaps like many - I find I have more in common with people I didn't realy know in High School - than I ever anticipated.
