Jim's Story
Yes, I was ROTC and no I did not go into the military. In fact I left Bellaire High School and did not travel too far in that I went to the University of Houston and still live in Houston. I have worked in the Telecommunications Industry all my business life starting as an Radio Frequency Engineer with Motorola moving into Sales and Management within the industry. I stayed with Fortune 100 companies for almost 20 years in senior management positions. After that I became a serial Entrepreneur as I am today. Currently I have an Internet Company that focusing on bridging the "digital divide" in rural America.
I have been married 4 times and have had no biological children but have "rented" by having two step-children in my current marriage of 26 years which has also given me 3 grandch...Expand for more
ildren. Our home is a "Manor" home with three generations living in it, each with their own suite and sharing common areas. I feel I am where I am supposed to be. I have lived in Dallas and Austin, traveled Europe, Great Brittan and Mexico over a 40+ year period for business and pleasure. Have had offices every major city in the U.S. Spent 10 years commuting to NYC and back. Lot's of flying, some of it in my own private jets. Today SW Airlines is my corporate Jet ha, ha.
The picture you see with this profile was taken about 3 weeks ago and I really don't have any pictures of me back in '71 except what you might fined in the year book. Bellaire was a fun time in my life and I appreciate the teachers and fellow students that helped me through those days. Blessings to all of you. Jim
