Greetings Fellow Choctaw Class of '65 Survivors...
My story? Went to college after HS. Earned Associates and Bachelor degrees. Tried to join the USAF but when I went for my physical the doctors discovered a hernia from playing football at Choctaw (before I joined the band), so I missed out on the whole Viet Nam thing. I am a cancer survivor; back in 1980 was diagnosed with colon cancer, was surgically removed and have been C free ever since (knock-on-wood!) Have three sons from two previous marriages. teful. Was a professional musician for 25+ years. Traveled around the country most of the time, retired from that 15 years ago. Moved back to FWB and started my own real estate appraisal company. Been doing that ever since. Spend free time dabbling in theatrics; still play music (for fun). Me and Allen R. get together two or three times a month and jam. Play a little bluegrass when the urge hits me. Take the old RV out camping at Suwannee or down on the Blackwater when we are able. Turned 62 in January. Just happy to still be here :-)
