Jim's Story
Drafted into the Army after graduating from Gannon College in Erie,PA.. Served as a medic in VietNam. Married in 1975.
Since I retired fom working for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I do a variety of volunteer work. My wife and I raise puppies for Canine Companions for Independence. These dogs assist kids and adults with disabilities. Our our 7th puppy(named Montego) was placed in February 2014 to man from Trenton, Michigan.. We will be raising our 8th puppy starting in July 2014.
We also help produce a weekly TV show...Expand for more
on Community Access TV in Erie. The show is called "The Amazing Grays" and it provides information that is geared for "older adults."
I served on 3 non-profit Boards in the Erie community.
Also, volunteer at the Achievement Center's recreation program( for children with diabilites)and Multicultural Community Resource Center.
We have enjoyed traveling to various places in the world including: Italy, Russia, Sweden, Panama Canal, Alaska,
Canadian and American Rockies, Mexico, Australia, Hawaii, Fuji, Great Britain ......
