Jim's Story
Here is a quick run-down since I graduated high school from Fowler in 1985. I went into the Navy in December of 1985 as a Machinist Mate with a Nuclear Power Specialty. Boot camp was in Great Lakes (some refer to as Great Mistakes), IL, Machinist Mate "A" School was also there. Then it was off to Orlando, FL for Nuclear Power School, Idaho Falls, ID for Nuclear Power Training Unit and then the USS Texas for my duty station in December of 1987. While on the Texas, I went on two (2) WestPACs, several CrackPACs and RIMPAC. This involved stops in Kenya, Phillipines, Singapore, Hong Kong, United Arab Emerants, Thailand, and Hawaii. I was married to my first wife (Heather) in February 1991 and discharged from the Navy in December 1991. We moved to Colorado where I worked for the National Instit...Expand for more
ute of Standards and Technology while attending Colorado School of Mines from 1992 until 1996. In 1994 I started my own construction and landscaping business and continued that until 2001 at which time I also divorced Heather. I then worked for Modern Log Homes from 2001 until 2004 as a design consultant and salesperson. In 2003 I met Wendy (my current wife) and we live in Denver, CO. In 2004 I began working for BOA Construction, Inc. and I am currently employed there as a Project Manager doing high-end remodeling and new construction. That is about it in a nut-shell. I have a brother (Rick), his wife (Missy) and their childern (Mia, Zachary, and Mariah) who live in Huntington Beach, CA and my parents (Jim and Carol) who still live in Fowler, CO. I hope to hear from and see everyone soon!
