Jim's Story
After high school, I did my undergrad degree at Kansas. I studied Drama and English. I lived in a dorm for a couple years, then I moved into a run-down old mansion along the Kansas River with 5 other students.
In my 20s, I spent time traveling and studying in Europe. I worked for a summer stock theater in a town on the coast of Wales one summer. I shared a tiny flat with no bathroom or refrigerator. We hung the milk in a bag out the window (because it was just that cold....Expand for more
) That adventure ended with short tearful phone call to my mother late one night after wandering the streets of Vienna for 3 hungry cold days.
I've been an actor for 30 years working around the country. I lived in San Francisco for a long time. I did my graduate degree there.
Now, I work for a theater in Omaha. I'm a writer, director, actor, administrator, but mainly an educator. I've renovated an old house in a rough part of town and live there with my dog, Shorty.
