Jim's Story
After kicking around for awhile, I went to work for the Arizona Department of Corrections in 1984. The work came naturally to me, and I promoted through the ranks to Deputy Warden. In 2005, it was time to go, so I retired.
I work enough to offset my healthcare premiums, try to get my consulting business off the ground, and volunteer in the local schools, and community.
I have six kids, five grandkids, and a granddog that qualifies as a grandkid.
I have lived in Arizona since 1970, and help run the Charger Band Alumni Association for the high school I graduated from (McClintock High in Tempe, Az.). We have over 120 members representing almost every graduating class in the histor...Expand for more
y of the school. We have held several reunions, are working on charitable status, and plan to offer scholarships in the names of the band directors who meant, and mean so much to us.
My biggest disappointment is the lack of people who actually return emails. I don't understand why someone would take the trouble to list themselves with this service, them ignore emails from someone they may not have heard from for thirty years or more. If you don't want contact, just tell the person, "thanks but no thanks."
I am not a spammer, and don't send out chain crap. I would just like to share memories with some friends from the distant past....
