Life
I have lived in Cheyenne for the past 39 years. I married Celia Ashley, a college roomate of Julie Artery. We have two daughters, Heather, a sixth grade teacher in Cheyenne, and Ashley Schulz, a High School English teacher at East High School. Ashley and Doug made us grandparents in December of 2004, and now they have three kids.. Heather married Damon Artery (Sue and Dave's son) and they have two children. s an elementary principal for 12 years. After two years as Executive Director of the Wyoming Education Association, I returned to teaching for five years, then retired. After three years of retirement (spelled b-o-r-e-d-o-m), I went back to work full time for the school district. I retired for good (I think!) in June, 2011. My parents passed away a few years ago, my mother after suffering from Alzheimers for many years, and dad went quickly a few years later with a heart attack. Greetings to all my Wheatland friends!
