Jim's Story
Life
Heya folks!
I'm living up in Seattle Washington - I've been here for about sixteen years now, working for Microsoft. I've been married to a lady named Sue for seven years now and we have a little one named Jessica who's two years old.
We live out of town on a few acres with horses and dogs (and apparently now a barn cat) and all of those good things.
So what's everyone up to? Write me a letter - I'm curious!
Workplace
So I've been at Microsoft about sixteen years now; almost an obscene number at this point. I...Expand for more
started at Fox Software in Perrysburg just out of school, and three months later we were purchased by Microsoft. Technically it was a "merger", although how 12000 people "merge" with 200 is a bit of a mystery to me.
At any rate, my job left Ohio, and went to Charlotte where I spent about a year and decided to go to Seattle as that's where the interesting jobs were.
I'm working with team of folks building imaging software. I'm looking forward to at least another ten years at the company before I decide what to do next.
