Jim's Story
Shout out to all the Band geeks at Ramona. I played clarinet in the Concert Band, Marching Band, Pep Band and Clarinet Quartet.
After graduating in 1965, I attended UCR for one quarter where I wound up on double-secret probation. Transferred to RCC where I wound up on the Dean's List. Graduated from San Jose State with a BA in Advertising and Cal State Fullerton with an MA in Communications. Worked for a year as a writer/photographer at a publishing company in Orange County. Worked for another year as a multi-media producer at a school district in Riverside County. Finally found the ideal job as a photography/graphic design teacher for the Riverside County Office of Education.

h High School, San Jacinto High School, La Sierra High School and Abraham Lincoln High School. I also taught design at RCC and multi-media at MSJC. I retired in 2004, but I continue to sub for RCOE. I subbed at Ramona a few years ago which was a trip down memory lane. In essence, my career condemned me to repeat the "High School" time schedule year after year.
I met my wife Sherry at RCC and now we spend the majority of our time raising our son Zachary. We also have 2 birds and a dog.
Update 2024: I just turned 76 last year (time flies when you're having memory lapses). I enjoyed seeing everyone at our 50th Reunion. My son is now 24 years old and recently earned a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering at UC Riverside. He's currently employed at ICSN Engineering in Corona.
