Jim's Story
Life
After high school, went to U of I in Champaign and graduated with a degree in advertising.
During summer school after freshman year, I ran into Sandi Gottlieb, a girl I had known since JCC summer camp when I was 12. We ended up dating the next four years and got married almost one year to the day after college graduation.

I spent 20 years working in advertising, finished my ad agency career as a V.P., Creative Director, then freelanced for awhile.
In 2006, I opened BASH Sports Academy, an indoor baseball/softball facility near Belmont & Western. BASH was the dream-come-true and the next logical step in my life.
I'd been coaching youth baseball since 1996 and in 2003 became president of the Welles Park youth baseball league, which serves 1,000 children.
