Life Hi there, I've had major changes in my life and think it's time to get my "Bio" up to date. After living in Griffin, GA from 2/89 until 11/2002 I now live in Edina, MN. I left GA on 11/19/2002 due to a job relocation. Northwest Airlines decided the workers liked GA far too much and shutdown the maint. base. I chose to move to MN to follow my job. I guess I knew I might become a "Nomad" getting into this business. I never thought I'd like it here with all the cold, ice and snow but, I have grown to love it here. It certainly is a major change from growing up in Miami..lol. I am now in the process of becoming single again after 20+ yrs. of marriage. We are still best friends but we decided this might be for the best. I am still employed by NWA but I am now out on medical Long Term Disability, due to an injury that occurred in 6/99. I am facing two major surgeries. The first will replace my left hip and if necessary, the second will be to fuse my lower spine. Both due to the OJI. I'm extremely immobile due to hip pain. I'm hoping that the pain will leave with the old hip and the fusion won't be required. I've met a really nice lady here. She comes from L'vov, Ukraine ( Pronounced Le' Volv ) which was a part of the USSR until it fell apart. We met through the Yahoo Personals online, and I haven't had a single regret yet. She has two boys and we get along wonderfully. Her name is Natalie (Natasha) and is a System Admin. for a major Health Insur. Co. here in the "Twin Cities". I don't know what I would've done had we not met on Christmas day 2002. I've been nearly 99% immobile since Mar. 2003 and she has made sure I had everything I needed in the way of food and such.
