Jim's Story
Jim was going downhill fast during his senior year at Buena, dropping out of honors math, falling in with a crowd of dopers, and skipping graduation. Incredibly, he was accepted at UCLA, where he continued his derelict ways, dabbling in art, music, psychology, and sociology, graduating with a worthless degree. Jim compounded his errors by getting an equally worthless Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Cal State Northridge. He then spent the next 5 years as a part-time instructor at Ventura College, earning peanuts and sponging off his hot live-in girlfriend that he met at UCLA, until she told him to get a real job or get out. g him, his employer sent him to classes, where Jim actually learned something, unlike in high school or college.
Jim thrived as a programmer, but lusted after bigger bucks, so he quit his job in Santa Barbara, sold his beach house, moved to Orange County, and went to work for international software giant SAS Institute, where he remains employed to this day as a Principal Technical Training Consultant, whatever the hell that means. Meanwhile, he married, and later divorced, the hot GF, bought a Corvette, and married a cute Chinese chick.
Jim spends evenings watching the movie Grease for the millionth time, identifying with Eugene. He spends weekends cruising Pacific Coast Highway from San Diego to Santa Barbara, or Highway 15 to Vegas, pretending he's 20, stereo blasting 60s rock n roll, and running his wife's fashion business in his spare time.
