Jim's Story
After leaving Steveston (which is now a new town home development),
I took Computer Science Degree at SFU.
My passion was automotive and from there, I went to BCIT, took automotive trades-training and spent the better part of 20 years learning all aspects of the automotive business at Mackenzie Heights Service located in the Kerrisdale area of Vancouver.
My boss decided to retire, but rather than take over the business, I was blessed to enjoy just 3 days of unemployment before I started a new career with Mercedes Benz.
What can I say? Living the dream - driving/working on high-end German luxury vehicles! :-P

re in-between, I met my soul-mate raised three children.
I still enjoy skiing and mountain-biking - which is where I can spend time with my kids.
Hopefully I'm on track for "Freedom 55" - wish me luck!
Now that I'm on the "downward slope" of "middle-age", I can honestly say - I don't feel or even act all that "old", but my body on certain days tells me otherwise.
I can only wish that all of my past and present friends can live a long & happy life into retirement (God willing).
My boys both play hockey for Seafair, it is so nice to run into Steveston Grads at Richmond Ice Center!
If you see me around, please say hi!
