Jim's Story
Life
East Leyden High School 1958-1962; Bradley University 1962-1966 (BSEE). Married my high school sweetheart, Carol Kern, in 1965. After college, worked for IBM until drafted into the Marine Corps in 1968. Served two years in Quantico VA, teaching at the Marine Computer Science School. Left the Marines in 1970 and joined a video training company for five years followed by 2 years at Baxter Travenol as IS Training Manager...Expand for more
. Left Baxter in 1977 and free lanced as a video training developer. In 1980, I co-founded a training consulting company and enjoyed that until retirement in 2004. Since then, I've dabbled with some consulting--but mostly keep busy around the house (with lots of golf in the summer).
Carol and I have two adult children--Jeff (1972) and Janene (1973). Janene has a son, Evan (2006) who is his grandparents' pride and joy.
