Life
Hi. My name is James Harmon Brown and I am a graduate of James Monroe High School, Northridge, Ca., class of 67. I have pretty much spent my entire adult life as a writer. Since 1992 I have worked exclusively in daytime television as head writer for such shows as "Guiding Light" (CBS), "Loving," ABC, "Port Charles" (ABC) and creator of the ABC daytime drama "The City." I've been nominated for five Writer's Guild of America awards, three Emmy awards and won an Emmy in 1993 for "Guiding Light." I'm married with three grown children: Jocelyn (who's 31); Kelly (29) and Josh (26). My wife's name is Doree.
