Jim's Story

I attended Santa Clara HS from 1957 to 1959 - two of the best years of my life! I organized an astronomy club ("Sputnik" was launched in 1957); our members included Judy Jackett, Eleanor Kronmiller and Gil Carbajal.. I transferred to the Catholic high school seminary (Mission Hills) and St. John's Seminary College (Camarillo). My seminary classmates included fellow SCHS alumni Armando Ochoa, Gil Carbajal and Francisco Herrera. I have graduate degrees from UC Santa Barbara (MA), Indiana University (Ph.D.) and Thunderbird School of Global Management (MBA). I ...Expand for more
taugt college classes at Augustana College, IL, before returning to California in 1979. I work as an insurance broker and risk manager for a construction firm. I raised two lovely tall daughters who recently graduated from their colleges (Cal-Poly Pomona and McGill University). I live in Agoura Hills and volunteer for youth sports, community groups and church activites. I sing and perform often in musicals at local Ventura County community theatres - I hope you can see some of my shows. Best wishes, and God bless all you dear folks, families and loved ones!
