Jim's Story
Moved to Anchorage, Alaska in Aug.96 at urging of my Dad's sister who moved here in '92. I love it!
Finally came out to family/ friends in '97, & met my partner Shawn shortly after i moved here-- nearly 11 years together now. He's a great guy, & we got married in NYC - April 2012.
Bought our first home here in Anchorage in April '07
Lost my Mom to breast cancer after graduation in March '89.
Dad moved to Virginia, just outside D.C. in Nov.'07, he's doing well at moment but discovered cancer (CLL) several years ago-- fortunately it's not attacking him too severely at the moment.
Sister Sara lives in Richmond Heights, and works in Clayton.

in Optical field as Optician, and have been in retail managment for most of time since I moved to Anchorage, having transferred up here while working at Eddie Bauer for 10 years, then a couple other places before getting into Optical. In 2003.
Love Alaska! Come visit!
Love to travel, and if not traveling around Alaska, I'm out to the big city in the "lower 48" states, leave Alaska for vacations with family and often for Christmas when I can get out. I love travel outside USA too.
Loved Clayton, and loved CHS and all the opportunities I got from living there... I remember CHS and friends and staff there very fondly.
