Workplace
After graduating Monroe, I went to CSUN and Cal Poly SLO. During the summers I worked for the US Forest Service as a seasonal fire fighter. Upon graduation from SLO with a BS in Forestry I received a permanent position with the USFS on the Sierra National Forest. I worked there for 5 years as a helitac...Expand for more
k firefighter and could not get into forest management as I really wanted. I left the USFS in 1984 and got lucky enough to get hired by TRW as a production controller. We were recently acquired by Northrup Grumman. So, I went from throwing dirt with a shovel to scheduling
solar array manufacturing for spacecraft!
