Jimmie's Story

Life could have been tough had I let it, been through a lot but still keep rolling along. Thanks to an emotionally and physically abusive step-father I developed a tough shell that I could crawl into and protect myself and still have it when I need it although anymore it's rare that I do. I have been married over 44 years and have one son, he's a TCU graduate and lives in Austin. rth it, I now work in retail and for the most part enjoy it although you really learn to hate some people who are extremely rude and treat people like dirt. Most are good people who actually appreciate you trying to help them. Haven't seen anyone from our class since about 1976 if I remember correctly when on a vacation trip I took my family through J'ville to show them where i went to Jr. and Sr. High. I'm doing well and sincerely hope all my classmates are, I have lots of aches and pains but suspect we all do but in recent years have beaten cancer , survived putting my head through a windshield in a wreck and having a pickup run into the side of my house in the room where i was sitting, I seem to have had an angel on my shoulder and hope it stays there. Good luck and God bless to all.
